Education is an important component of society. It not only produces educated citizens, but also helps to create a sense of social harmony and community by producing mutual respect between people. Education helps individuals acquire and develop their individual learning styles. A well-developed curriculum provides knowledge that can be used in various settings from home, at work or in education to help people live their lives well.
Education has many forms. In the United States, the government as well as many private organizations provide education. Government schools are generally the traditional public school system with many students attending public schools. Private schools are colleges or universities established for the purpose of providing higher education to its students. Private schools may be funded by tuition fees from parents or other financial means, land or other assets owned by the school, or by a combination of these methods.
Private education has various advantages. Since most students are taught by teachers who are experienced in their subject matter, there is a greater chance that students will learn the subject well. Students also have the advantage of selecting their teachers. Teachers in a private school can be students’ peers or instructors who have the same majors and the same inclinations towards a specific career path. Private education also allows students to gain a certain feeling of independence and autonomy that they may not obtain in a public school setting.
